Tyler and Basketball

Tyler started playing basketball and is getting really good. He is one of the bigger kids on his team. He is growing like a weed. We can't keep him clothed. Just kidding. He is just getting so big. He turns 8 on January 31st. He will be getting baptized on his birthday. More to come on that. So I thought I would post some pictures of him playing basketball. I am so proud of him. I am also added some cute pictures of the girls. Life here in Colorado is good. Hope all is well. Enjoy the pictures and video.

Christmas 2009 and the New Year

For Christmas we went to Tennessee to see Rusty's parents and grandma. The kids were so excited to go. Grandma and Grandpa just moved into a new house and they were excited to see it. They built a gorgeous home in Lakeland Tennessee. It was right by a lake and they had a really great time. They said the favorite part of the whole house was the elevator, Yes an elevator. They put it in so that great grandma could go upstairs without using the stairs. It was really nice to have when we had to take all the presents up to our rooms and when we had to haul all of our luggage up and down the stairs. Rusty was really smart this year we shipped all of our luggage and presents and they were already there when we got there and we did not have to mess with luggage at the airport. We love that Rusty is in the shipping business.

Anyway we had a great Christmas this year. Tyler got an ipod touch and a pocket razor. The girls got new princess dolls and a doll house. Rusty got some golf clubs and I got a new knife set and a food processor/blender. I was really excited. We spent 10 days in Tennessee and rang in the new year with his parents. We did not acturally stay up late we were lazy and went to bed. Billy(rusty's dad) had back surgery while we were there so we helped with putting the house together and nursing him back to health. Mia was his favorite nurse, she even rubbed his feet. She was really cute about the whole thing.
We also had a family night just the 5 of us. We took the kids to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. They loved it.

It is now 2010 I can't believe it. A new year new goals and things that we want to do.

My list of things that I would consider a goal is:

Loose 30 pounds
Become more Healthier eating and exercising
Go to the temple more
Spend lots of time with family
Read scriptures more
Try to overcome some problems in my life
Maybe have another baby(I have to talk Rusty into it first)

Now that it is 2010 I hope this year is better than last year and I can accomplish the goals that I have.

We are so excited for Tyler he turns 8 on the 31st and will be baptized on his birthday. We have lots of family coming for the event and can't wait to see them.

The picture of Mia with the raccoon eyes is a funny story, she got into some make-up that was given to her and decided to use it all on her eyes, Tyler took the picture. She had glitter all over the place. 3 year olds!!!!!!!!!

One day all the girls went and had pedicures. We took Mia and Madison to Sweet and Sassy and they had their hair done and a mani-pedi. It was so cute. They had so much fun. They then went with us and sat on ours laps while we had a pedicure. It was a great girl day.

Holly Turns 32!!!!!!!!!

Well the time of year of the good old birthday has come and gone. I am one year older. 32 I can't beleive it. I feel so old. I had a great birthday this year. I flew home for the weekend, just me no kids. I had a great time with my family. I got to eat at all the cool places that Colorado does not have. On my birthday I went to lunch with by friend Jeni and the girls, we then went and did some shopping and when Rusty got off work we took the kids to The Bass Pro Shop to see santa and to eat there. They have great food. We then came home for cake and icecream. Rusty made me a cake, I know crazy and then we opened presents. Tyler gave me perfume, Rusty gave me a garlic press(original I know), Madison gave me a new alarm clock and Mia gave me a bluetooth for my cell phone. I am truely loved. I have a great family and great friends.

I am posting a picture of what the girls made Rusty and I for christmas. It was so cute. Their hand prints are so cute and little.

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are off to Memphis for christmas.

Oh I almost forgot. We have a new member to our family. His name is OJ. Our other kitty Toby was attacked by an animal so after a few months and some mice issues we decided to get a new kitty. We went to the animal shelter and picked him out. He is an Orange tabby. He is so cute. I hope he can hunt mice well.

Happy Holidays!!!!!!!

So it is that time of year again. The tree is up we do lots of baking and listen to christmas songs. The kids have enjoyed making yummy treats and trimming the tree. This time of year we always try to think of what we are thankful for. I am thankful for a loving family and friends. This year has been a tough one for me. I have had to deal with a lot and try to understand things. My husband and my family and friends were there to lend a helping hand. I want to thank you all for your love and support for me. I know that I am suppose to be here today and that I have a great family and a husband and children that love and need me. Rusty has been a great support to me this year. I love him very much and I am glad that I am married to him for eternity. I am grateful for my knoweledge of the gospel and know for a fact that Heavenly Father loves all of us and watches over us. I also know that there are family members who have passed on that are there and watching over us like guardian angels. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church and with out it I don't know were I would be. I am grateful for my family and for my friends. I have made some very good friends here in Colorado that I will have for the rest of my life. I love you and you know who you are. I am posting some pictures of the kids that we took for our christmas cards. Enjoy and everyone have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
