Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

We had a really good christmas this year. We stayed home and Rusty's parents came to town to see all the family. The girls were really into it this year. They loved opening presents. Tyler was also very excited. He is at a very fun stage in life. The girls on the other hand are a handful but we love them lots. Tyler got a bunch of new nerf guns including the Vulcan, a Optimus Prime transformer and a new mitt for baseball. The girls got new dolls and stroller and a bunch of new movies. I got a new pink laptop!!!!!!!!!!Yeah I can have my own computer now. I also got a new necklace with the kids birthstone on it that is beautiful a gift card to Costco thanks mom and dad and a Miche bag. It is the new handbag that Rusty is shipping. It is really cool. Rusty had a pretty boring christmas. He only got a 2007 F-150 Supercrew Lariat truck. It is really cool. He has wanted a new truck for a very long time and he finally got it. We enjoyed the Christmas Holiday and loved seeing his parents.

My sister Jenny and her family came out for New Years. It has been lots of fun with them here. It has been really low key though. I ended up having surgery on my ovarian cyst on tuesday the 30th. I wanted to get it done before the end of the year so they did it right away. I have been really sore but the recovery has been good. Rusty and everyone have taken really good care of me. We have had a good year and are blessed with good health and a happy family. We love you all and hope you all have a Happy New Year.

Holly's 31st Birthday

So I have the best husband in the whole world. He threw me a surprise birthday party. I was totally shocked. I had my really good friends there and some family. It was so much fun. I had a really great day. We ate at Trappers a really great chop house and then we went to my friends house for the party. I had a big birthday cake and we played games. Rusty planned it all he sent out invites and provided day care for all my friends kids. He really is the best. There was a big problem right before the party, we were suppose to have it at our clubhouse but it had plumbing problems so he moved it to my friends clubhouse. They were informed an hour before the party that it had a water main break. What luck!!!!!!!!!!!! So my friend Tammy opened her house for the party. Thanks Tammy. I had such a good time. The kids gave me a pretty necklace and Rusty gave me a new digital camera that I can carry in my purse. Thank you to everyone who made my day go great. I love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We also had our 10 year anniversary on the 19th. It was not so great. I was in the ER with abdominal pain and they found very large ovarian cyst. So needless to say I have been in bed all weekend. It should just go away over time but it is very painful. We are planning on a cruise in Feb to celebrate so hopefully that will be better. I love you Rusty and I am glad that I married you 10 years ago. We hope all is well with everyone and hope you all have a great Christmas. We look forward to seeing Grandma and Grandpa Griffin.

Gingerbread House Making

Rusty came home tonight with gingerbread houses to decorate. We had so much fun. The girls enjoyed decorating and eating all the candy. Tyler had his own house and liked to decorate it. He even let his sister's help. We have tried to make this a yearly tradition in our family. So far so good. We hope you are all having a great Holiday Season.

First Snow in Colorado!!!!!!

We finally got snow here in colorado. It snowed on Saturday here in Colorado finally. It was our first snow. This year we bought snow outfits for the girls to play in. So we let them out and they loved it. I took a few photos.

We also enjoyed a nice weekend with my sister Jenny and her family. We had tons of fun. We wished we lived closer. We had a good Thanksgiving. We stayed home this year and I did all the cooking. It was fun. We had Rusty's sister and her daughter Jessie over for dinner. It was nice to have family here. I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving.

So Rusty had to be to work this last Monday-Wednesday in Salt Lake so we decided to go with him. It was really great to see my family. We had a great time. The kids loved being with everyone. Lori does not have a job right now so she hung out with us everyday. It was fun. The girls really got close to DODO. Saturday night my parents watched all the grandkids while the adults went to dinner. We went to the cheesecake factory and it was good. I have never been there before and now I want to go again. Thanks Mom and Dad, you are the best. Lets just say that my parents are not as young as they used to be. They were a little tired when we got home. We made it home safe and sound. We had lots of fun and can't wait to go back again this summer. Thank you mom and dad for letting us stay at your house. Enjoy the pictures. Oh and thanks to aunt DODO the girls hair was done everyday really cute even twice a day because after their naps their hair was all messed up. So thanks Lori. It was also my neice Bailey's 11th birthday.HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! So we were able to celebrate that with her. The pictures of the pricess crown was so cute. The girls found it and loved it. They are so cute.

We had a pretty rough day yesterday. I threw out my back and was bedridden the whole day, Tyler was complaining of a sore throat, Mia got her fingers slammed in the door and Madison got hit in the head with a boomerang. When it rains is pours. So we had a rough day.

We decided to name our kitty Toby.

We did not take Madison into the doctor because we controlled the bleeding and was able to see it was not deep. We went to the doctor today to have Tyler and Mia checked out for coughs and sore throats and the doctor looked at Madison and said it looked good. She will most likely have a scar though. So that was our busy day.

Tyler took the picture of me, he did a great job. I colored my hair by myself and it went really dark. It looks better now.

Reba and Toby get along great. I took a picture of them on the couch together. It was really cute. I also took a picture of all the kids and animals watching tv this morning.
