The cake my mom made was delish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Homemade german chocolate. You can't get better than that. I love you dad and appreciate all that you have done for me in my life. I could not ask for a better dad. Enjoy the pictures. I did not take the kids. So I had a good time with my sisters. The kids stayed with dad for the weekend. Game

This is a pretty fun game, participate if you want!1. Add a comment on my blog. Leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Well we just got back from visitng my family in Utah. We had a great time. We all got to see Tyler after 3 weeks and needless to say we love him. I know that my family enjoyed him being there. My sister Lori especially. They have a great bond and he loves her very much. We spent a week hanging out and having fun. The kids all got to play and I think they had a really great time. Thanks to my dad for driving us out there. He flew out to denver and then drove us back to utah. He must really love us. Thanks Dad!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rusty then flew out and stayed for one day and drove us home. What can I say I am a wimp when it comes to driving by myself. We had so much fun and can't wait for next summer.

We are very excited that Ben and Jenny and Livy are coming for thanksgiving. It will be fun to have them here.

As for our summer it is going by fast. Tyler starts first grade on Aug 5th. He is so excited. We love and miss you all.

Happy 4th of July

We just had a really lazy weekend. We stayed home and went to our pool and had dinner at a friends house. We really missed Tyler. He is in Utah with my family. We had a good time with the girls. Nothing really exciting going on at our house. Rusty's sister Amy from Memphis just moved here so Tyler has another cousin his age close by. We are excited. I am posting some pictures of the girls on the 4th in their outfits and a picture of their colored legs. They decided to take a pen and draw on themselves. The joys of having two year olds. They are so cute and we love them to death. I love you Tyler and I hope you are having fun in Utah.

Mt Rushmore Trip

Well we went last weekend to Mt Rushmore with two other families from the ward the Allens and the Gardners. We had a blast. We left thursday morning really early and got to our campsite about 2:30. We set up camp and then had dinner. The kids were all tired of the car so the little ones went to bed and the rest stayed up. On Friday we went to Mt Rushmore on our way there we ran into some wild Burros who were very friendly and came right up to the car and ate out of our hands. We then ran into a Buffalo. It was really cool. Mt Rushmore was amazing. The Mountain is really cool, pictures don't do it justice you really have to be

there to see it. We then went to Edwards space museum and saw a bunch of planes. We headed home for dinner and a quite night at camp. On Saturday we went panning for gold. Rusty found a garnet stone but had to give it to the forest ranger. Rusty then took all the kids fishing. There was a river right by the camp site. The kids loved it. All the kids caught very small fish. They thought it was cool. We then went on a wild life caravan where we saw all kinds of wild animals like turkey, deer, elk and of course buffalo. We were right in the middle of the herd. It was cool they were crossing the road and eating right by us. There were tons of them and they had little ones too. We went on a short hike to see a very big tree that was over 100 years old. We then went back to camp for smores and our last night near a fire. Sunday we got up ate and cleaned up camp and drove home. Over all we had a great time and would suggest this trip to anyone. We had a really good time. I really liked because we had heat in our cabin and flushing toilets and showers. So it was all good. Enjoy the pictures.

Love you all.
