What a Week!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been a very busy week for us. On Wednesday night Rusty and I went to the Brad Paisley concert with some friends. It was so much fun. He does a great concert. We were out really late but had a lot of fun. Then on Thursday night we went to see the Nuggets vs the Jazz. It was a good game but the Jazz lost. I felt out of place cheering for the opposite team. I also saw Hot Rod Hundley there doing the announcing for the radio. He was sitting right by us. So I went up to him to say hi and asked if he would sign my hat. So he did. I felt special. After the game we got to meet one of the nuggets players. It was cool I didn't really know who he was but he was very tall. We also go to see Iverson the big player for the nuggets come out of the press room and were just a few feet from him. That was pretty cool.

So that was our exciting week so far. I will try and put some pictures up soon. We hope all is well.

Welcome 2008!!!!!

Well I can't believe that 2008 is already here. Crazy. We started off the new year by getting snowed in at Frisco, Co. We were traveling home on Dec 30th from Utah and was driving on I-70 to get home. We were at Frisco which is 67 miles away from denver when they shut the interstate down due to weather. There was no hotels that had vacancy and we didn't know what to do. So both Rusty's parents and my parents told us to contact the local bishop with all their help we were able to get a hold of him and they opened up the church to 20 families that were stuck with no were to stay. Although is was tough to sleep on the floor of the church we were so blessed to have somewhere warm to stay. The local members brought blankets and pillows and when we woke up somone had brought milk and cereal and some breakfast bars. We were truly blest. We made some new friends. We thought we were going to have to spend another night but on New Years's Eve they opened the road at about five o'clock. So we decided to try and get home. It took two hours to get home but we were sure glad to be home. Needless to say we all went to bed early. We were all very tired.

The new year has been very busy for us. Tyler started back at school and I stay home busy with two toddlers who run around and make messes. Rusty is busy at work due to an employee quiting. Hopefully they can hire someone soon and he can be home and see the kids more. We all hope to have a good year. We are just blessed to have friends and family and the church in our lives.

Well everyone seems to be blogging these days, so I guess we need to. Our little family it growing up fast. We live in Aurora Colorado were Rusty works for Global Transportation as the station manager. I stay at home with our three beautiful children. Tyler who is 5 and will be 6 in January and our twin girls Mia and Madison who are 18 months old. The children are the joy of our lives.

Tyler started Kindergarten this year and loves it. He loves to learn and to ride the bus. His favorite thing right now is to draw and write things down. He is growing up way to fast.

Mia is a character. She is our little talker. She likes to talk. She has a lot of energy. She is a very picky eater though. She was born second and weighed the most, she is still about an inch taller but they weigh just about the same.

Madison on the other hand is very outgoing and not afraid of anything, she is starting to climb on everything. She is not talking yet, they do have this twin talk that they do and so I guess only one needs to do the talking. Maddie has a little less hair but a lot of personality.
